Acupressure

Chinese massage is called Ann Mo or Tuei Na and is a type of massage which does not require medicines or medical equipment. The masseur heals by working on the surface of the body. This system stimulates the circulation, relaxes the patient, eliminates tiredness and inflammation, facilitates mobility of the joints etc. The massage reinforces the body’s mechanism of cell renewal. In this way one is able to heal the patient. In the past, when acupuncture and medicines had not yet been invented, man used massage (with both hands) as a curative system. Acupressure is no more than Chinese massage using finger pressure. These techniques have thousands of years of history behind them and are called Jyy Ya in Chinese but are also known as Shiatzu in Japanese.
